Piano Teacher

York Piano Teacher Laurence Cornhill enjoys teaching the full age range from 4 years to 80 years! His approach to teaching encourages enjoyment of piano playing. He uses popular music from all eras and lots of jazz-inspired pieces.

Laurence completed a degree in music at Colchester Institute and has also qualified as a secondary school music teacher at the University of London. Since then, Laurence has taught music in various schools in York and North Yorkshire. In 1993, Laurence became a full-time piano teacher and enjoys helping people to become better pianists and musicians.
